the house
The house exudes the flair of bygone times. All around you encounter evidence and details: thick natural stone walls, wooden beams, old stone floors, the washing area in the kitchen carved out of stone, fireplace, drinking troughs at the well, separate bakery.
The trademark of the house is the pigeon tower which is typical of the region. Here you will find bedroom with south facing balcony where you can sleep under the star studded sky on hot summer nights. There are also 3 alcove beds with seating area and television, a bathroom and a study on this level. At ground level is the dining room with a large table and fireplace. Next door is the farmhouse kitchen fully equipped with all modern utensils needed for cooking and baking. The living area (former stable) is furnished in Moroccan style. Here you can watch television (English, German and French), read a book and discuss the events of the day over a glass of local red wine. Above the living room you will find the green room (bedroom) which is reached via a wooden staircase. A second bathroom with bath and washing machine completes the ground floor.
